Since 2009, Televele has been promoting media literacy and critical thinking among children, parents, and educators in Hungary.
Our mission is to help all generations use media consciously, safely, and creatively.
We work with schools, kindergartens, communities, and families, delivering interactive, experience-based programs tailored to different age groups – from early childhood to secondary school.
Our team includes media educators, psychologists, lawyers, and child protection specialists, combining expertise from media studies, pedagogy, psychology, and education.
Televele’s programs address the challenges of the rapidly changing digital environment, covering topics such as online–offline balance, social media use, critical media literacy, and preventing online bullying.
We also provide training and resources for teachers and organise workshops for parents to strengthen media awareness at home.
Our work is inspired by both Hungarian and international best practices, and we actively cooperate with partner organisations to share knowledge and develop innovative educational tools.
